The Lady in Orange

My great friend Ann Marie left Minneapolis today to head back to the UK. For the past 4.5 years, she was my personal cheerleader and confidant. I lost her to the Queen of England, but happy for her new chapter.

Ann Marie, not Ann, not Annie, just plain Ann Marie. Quaint and ever so unique. Our friendship was solidified at a party when I let out my first joke about work and how it was such an odd place with such an odd culture. Fortunately for me, she understood it far too well.

Top Ten best moments, in no particular order
  • Watching U2 perform while getting drenched in the rain
  • Road tripping it to see the Green Giant on Thanksgiving Day
  • Murder Mystery Night and WINNING!
  • Apple Picking/Birthday Celebration
  • An introduction to Remembering the 5th of Nov
  • The best home made Fish and Chips I've eaten
  • Burger Club and the exploration of the Twin Cities
  • Pissing off the Birthday girl and winning her back with a surprise birthday celebration
  • Excavating Ice Castles
  • Clue night and the 40 minute of laughs and confusion leading to it prior.

We got along like Eddie and Pasty, Ant and Dec. We were awesome at laughing.
By far the best concert
We always have the best timing
These two made my B-day wish come true.
The day we found out
It was supposed to have been my last lunch...

  1. Love you bunches Lam Lam! So wonderful that you are writing a blog & that I'm featured in it!

You NEVER (notice the serious of my capital letters) fail to SURPRISE me constantly, like having a yard sale at your house & you saying "oh I made you a tart!" which by the way was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!

Keep on cooking Lam Lam -this is YOUR Summer!

I'm so inspired by your Blog I think I may take a stab at one myself for this new UK adventure
